Once upon a time in the town of Frog Creek their lived two girls named Miracle and Prim. Today was a special day for Prim because Prim's adoption by Miracle's mom was finally official, and to celebrate  they were having a big gotcha day party to welcome her.

"How does this dress look"? Prim asked Miracle.

"It looks fine". replied Miracle. 

"Is everything alright Miracle, you sound upset for some reason". said Prim.

"I'm fine just leave me alone"! replied Miracle annoyed.

"Ok I guess I'll just go see if mom needs help setting up for the party".  said Prim.

"She is my mom not yours"! shouted Miracle.

What do you mean, she adopted me, so doesn't that make her my mom"? asked Prim.

"She is no more your mom than I am your sister". replied Miracle rudely.

Just then Prim ran out of the room crying.

When prim came running into the living room in tears her mom Tammy knew that something was wrong.

"Prim honey what is wrong"? she asked concerned.

"Miracle hates me". Prim answered between tears.  

"Come sit next to me and tell me what happened". Tammy replied.

"Now calm down and tell me what happened". said Tammy.

"I tried to ask Miracle if this dress was ok for the party and she said she wanted to be left alone, so I said that I would go see if you needed help setting up". she replied.

"When I called you Mom, she said you are not my mother and she is not my sister". explained Prim.

"Honey I am sorry that happened, I will go and have a talk with Miracle, you stay here and watch tv". said Tammy.

Meanwhile Miracle was on the phone with one of her friends when there was a knock on the bedroom door.

"Go away Prim"! shouted Miracle.

"It's not Prim, it's your Mother.

"Oh, then come in". said Miracle.

"Put the phone away please, we need to have a talk". said her Mom.

"Am I in trouble"? asked Miracle.

"You are in a whole lot of trouble". replied her Mother.

"What did I do"? asked Miracle.

"Your sister is very upset about what you said to her". said her Mother.

"You mean foster sister". said Miracle.

"Why won't you consider her your real sister"? asked her mother.

"Because she is not my real sister". replied Miracle.

"Just because I didn't give birth to her doesn't make her any less your sister than she is my daughter". answered her Mother.

"But she is stealing you away from me". said Miracle.

"I think there is more going on here, why don't you tell me what really is going on"? asked her Mother.

"Ever since her adoption became final, you have been giving her all the attention and forgetting about me". Miracle explained.

"Sweetie, I didn't mean to make you feel this way, it's just Prim needs a lot of attention right now because she is new to the family, is that why you have been lashing out at her"? asked her Mother.

"Yes, because I feel like you don't care anymore, for example, my birthday is next week and you haven't said a thing about it". said Miracle.

"You are may daughter and I will always love you, and I haven't mentioned your birthday because Prim and I were planning a surprise". explained her Mother.

"Oh, I thought you completely forgot and didn't care". stated Miracle.

"There is no way I could ever stop caring about you, so you see, it was all a big misunderstanding". said her Mother reassuringly. 

"Can you ask Prim to come in here, I think I owe her an apology. said Miracle.

"Certainly, I am proud of you honey". said her Mother.

A few minutes later Prim walked into the room.

"Tammy said you wanted to talk to me"? asked Prim.

"Yes, please sit on your bed so I can talk to you, and you can call her Mom if you want to". said Miracle.

"What do you want to talk about"? asked Prim.

"I wanted to apologize for my behaviour earlier". said Miracle.

"Why did you do it, do you realize how much that hurt me"? Prim asked.

"I do now, the reason I was acting that way was because I was jealous of all the attention you were getting and I thought Mom didn't love me anymore". Miracle explained.

"She is your mother, she could never stop loving you". said Prim.

"I realize that now and what I said about her not being your mother and me not being your sister was out of line and I am sorry for that". said Miracle sincerely.

"I forgive you, let's start over". suggested Prim.

"I would like that". agreed Miracle.
