Once upon a time, there was a little school bus named Benny. 

Benny picked up a lot of kids to take to class and dropped them off. When it came to kids, Benny had very many.

Benny heard all the kids talking about how cool monster trucks are, monster trucks near, and monster trucks far.

They shared library books they had checked out, about monster trucks that were painted red and purple, and had big snouts. 

The kids talked about BIG trucks, FAST trucks, SILLY trucks, trucks that could do jumps, trucks that looked like CHICKENS, and trucks that had CAMEL HUMPS.

The more Benny heard, the more he wished he could be a monster truck. "They're so wonderful and fun, and I'm just a dull old school bus!"

When Benny had finished his route, he headed home upset, his mind full of doubt.

“How come monster trucks can do tricks and flips, but everyday I have to make the same boring trips?”

"Benny, you don't need to change." said his friend Ziggy the van, who had heard Benny's cry. "You have an important job taking kids to school everyday. You’re a really special guy.”
