Liam goes on vacation to his Aunt Mary's house. He explores the old house, discovers a basement, and finds a glowing ball that transports him back in time. He befriends a boy named Mark and learns about his dad's mysterious past. Liam helps his dad overcome his trauma and they bond over beating a video game record. Liam eventually returns home and everything is peaceful.
