


"Hi Poly! How was school today?" asked Sally Circle. "It was alright. We are learning about Polygons but I kept mixing them up!" said Poly.


"I think I can help you! Let's go to the park!" said Sally.


"Let's start with a triangle! A triangle has 3 sides! Let's make one with these sticks!" said Sally. Poly gathered three sticks and formed them into a triangle. "Great job Poly!"








"Now that we know what a triangle looks like, can we find any in the real world?" Poly looked around, "That yield sign is a triangle!" "Great job Poly! A slice of pizza is also a triangle!" said Sally.




"Alright Poly let's talk about quadrilaterals now! A quadrilateral has 4 sides, let's make one out of these sticks." said Sally. Poly collected 4 sticks and formed them into a quadrilateral.









"Now that we know what a quadrilateral looks like, can we find any in the real world?" Poly looked around, "That sign is a quadrilateral and so is that kite!" said Poly. "Great job Poly!" said Sally.

"Alright Poly let's talk about pentagons now! A pentagon has 5 sides, let's make one out of these sticks." said Sally. Poly collected 5 sticks and formed them into a pentagon.







"Now that we know what a pentagon looks like, can we find any in the real world?" Poly looked around, "That sign is a pentagon and so is the house behind us!" said Poly. "Great job Poly!" said Sally.





"Alright Poly let's think about hexagons now! A hexagon has 6 sides, let's make one out of these sticks." said Sally. Poly collected 6 sticks and formed them into a hexagon.








"Now that we know what a hexagon looks like, can we find any in the real world?" Poly looked around, "The honeycomb from these bees has lots of hexagons in it!" said Poly. "Great job Poly!" said Sally.



"Alright Poly let's talk about heptagons now! A heptagon has 7 sides, let's make one out of these sticks." said Sally. Poly collected 7 sticks and formed them into a heptagon.









"Now that we know what a heptagon looks like, can we find any in the real world?" Poly looked around, "This container is a heptagon!" said Poly. "Great job Poly!" said Sally.
