Hi im Martha, I was a dog who lived in india and I know a lot about Hinduism!

One day about 4,000 years ago a religion called hinduism started. Hinduism is a pretty cool religion. A religion is something you practice and believe in. 

People who practice hinduism like to do yoga to get closer to their gods and reach moksha. Moksha is when you stop moving up in the social class. A social class in india is when you are born into a group and you stay their your how life until you die. What group you are born in controls what jobs you can have who you can marry and who you can talk to.

Im Emily jr. and im a braman. A Brahman is the highest you can get before you reach moksha. I like to do yoga to get closer to my gods.

Im martha, I am a kshatriya. That means i'm a warrior I fight and keep my people of India safe

Im buddy and i'm a vaishya, I'm a landowner but i could also become a trader a merchant or even a crafts men.

Im bruce. I am an untouchable, I have to stay away from every other dog unless they are an untouchable too. My job is a sewer cleaner but I could also become a butcher, grave digger, or a trash collector. 

Im Max i am  shudra, i am a servant to people in higher groups than me. I could also become a peasant or a laborer

This is the Ganges river, This river is very holy and secrid to the indians who practice hinduism. This river is the most holy and lots of practices attend in there. The river is also really polluted which means dirty. A lot of people spread their family members who passed ashes in the river. 

Hinduism is not a religion you can just pick up because you want to. Its a very hard religion to learn and understand. Its not like christianity where people go and try to get you to follow their religion. Most hindus stay in india and don't move. Hinduism is not spread all over the place unlike christianity and the jewish faith. 

Hinduism is a pretty cool religion to learn about, its really unique. I hope this book gave you more of an understanding about this amazing religion.
