Once upon a time in a faraway village, there lived a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She lived on a farm with her parents.

She thought her life was very boring.

One dull day, Little Red Riding Hood decided to trick the people in the village. 

"There's a wolf eating our flock!" She yelled. "Someone come help!"

People started rushing over to the sheep from all sides of town. When they found out there was no wolf, they got angry at Little Red. She did not care, though. She was having fun!

When she returned home, her mother was mad at Little Red. She heard about the trick she played on the townspeople. “Red, you must not play tricks on people like that. What if there was a real wolf following you? Nobody would believe you.”

Little Red ignored her mother.

The next day, she did it again. “Help! A wolf is eating our sheep!”

People from all over came with weapons and protection to help this poor little girl and her sheep, only to find the animals grazing stagnantly.

The townspeople grew tired of her lies, and so they no longer came when she called out for help.

“Serves you right,” Her mother said once she returned home. Little Red was bored.

“If you’re bored, why don’t you visit grandma?” Her mum suggested.  Hesitantly, Little Red Riding hood baked her grandmother some cookies.

With her basket of cookies in hand, she set out into the dark forest where her Grandma lived. It was a long walk, but her mother trusted her enough to stick to the path and arrive there safely.

As Little Red progressed further into the woods, she often stopped to pick some flowers. When she bent down to pick them from the ground, she saw a wolf staring at her. She screamed and dropped the basket, bolting towards her Grandma’s house.

Once she was inside, she locked the door and went to see her Grandmother. Her Grandma was in bed, and her skin was an odd colour. She was also much larger than the last time Little Red had seen her.
