"How was your first day of kindergarten?," Mom asked Gavin one afternoon. "It was great!," Gavin responded. "We even learned how to rhyme! 

Mom asked Gavin to show her his new rhyming skills, and this is what he performed...

Kindergarten is the best! Now let me put my rhyming skills to the test.

Today, I had so much fun. I smiled so bright, just like the sun.

My teacher said, "good morning girls and boys!" This year, we'll fill our classroom with many joys. 

We learned to count, and read, and write. I think kindergarten will be alright!

After we learned and read a bunch, we packed our bags and went to lunch.

For dessert, I ate a cookie so big, it made me jump up and do a happy dance jig!
