Our story follows the life of a lone wolf named Leonardo. His whole life Leonardo, or Leo, has lived in a cold environment. Leo calls Alaska his home and has never even thought about leaving it. Than again, why would he want to?

Leo has been alone in the cold for as long as he can remember so it is the only lifestyle he knows. He lives in a cave where he eats and sleeps.

Leo is a wolf so the cold environment does not bother him. In fact he would prefer the cold over a warm place any day. Leo has long fur that keeps him warm from the snow and low temperatures. His fur is a dark color at the top to keep him from freezing.

The way Leo is able to find food and water is due to his great sense of smell. Leo has a sense of smell one hundred times greater than ours.
