Introduction

 This is a story intended for 1-2nd graders, but all ages can appreciate the story. Jason and his mother are all that they have in their world. When his mother got a new job at the local hospital, Jason’s life is turn upside down. Now with the help of his grandmother, they are going to have an adventure   while his mother is at work.  

Once Upon a time there was a little boy called Jason who lived with his mother.

He was a very smart, and curious boy. They recently moved to a nearby town where his grandmother lived.  

He is an only child who lived with his mother. She was a doctor and recently she got a new job in the local Hospital.

Because of her new job, now Jason has to spend time with his grandmother. But Jason only wants to spend time with his mother. He thought his grandma was not fun. 

His grandmother lived in a center for retired people with her friends Mimi Sue, and Robert.

The next day his mother left Jason with his grandmother at her apartment. 

Hi mom. Take good care of Jason. I'll pick him in the afternoon.

Hi Jason!

Jason's mom left to work and he was left alone with his grandma. He didn't want to be with his grandma. He thought she wasn't fun and he was already bored.

Jason didn't want to be with his grandmother. He wanted to be with his mother in his home. He only wanted to play with her. 

Granny had a problem now. What could she do to entertain Jason. She doesn't know what to do. Maybe he should watch television? But Jason wasn't a fan of that idea.  

His Granny had a fantastic idea. She would show the facilities to Jason. That way he wouldn't be bored.  

Let's take a walk

First they went to the candy room where Mimi Sue practiced. She was a candy-maker before she retired. 

Where is Mimi Sue?

Right when Jason and his grandma arrived, Mimi Sue was going to start making a batch cookies. Mimi Sue had a brilliant idea, Jason should help her make cookies.

Jason curious about Mimi Sue past, begun questioning about her relationship with his grandmother. He found that Mimi Sue had a store in front of the Hospital where his grandmother used to work. 

Your grandmother was the best the nurse the hospital had. She was and is my best candy taster, and customer. We have known each other for about 30 years.
