In the morning:
I usually have breakfast at 9 in the morning. I always have oatmeal with milk. I love the lactose per in milk. Additionally, as bread with cheese, cookies or toast. Sometimes I drink juice but very rare I drink coffee.
In the afternoon:
Sometimes I have lunch at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. As a starter I have a hot vegetable soup with chicken or meat, and as a main dish I like to eat everything. Although my favorite dish is the Ceviche de Pato with lots of yellow yucca, beans and rice. We have a great fruit juice to drink. At dinner, we like to eat rice and fry fish, chicken, or meat. Occasionally, there is some kind of Chinese soup, and a hot drink in winter.
On special occasions we savor different dishes from northern Peru such as Ceviche de Pato, Pachamanca, Adobo de Chancho, Pepian and others. We often eat it with wine and beer. The cold and rare dishes are diverse, among those that are most prepared in my house are: La Papa a la Huancaina, Rocoto Relleno, Tiradito, Chambar and Ceviche. In our family parties we often prepare Mazamorra Morada, jelly, and a decorated table with salty and sweet snacks. The birthday person's table has goodies and a big cake.

At night:
I often have dinner at 8:00 at night. I usually have the midday meal for dinner. Sometimes I have a soup, and for dessert I rarely have coffee with milk.

In the mornings:
I practice an intermittent diet, so I try to go a long time without eating. But on the days that I don't, I always have an omelette with chard and some milk and unsweetened barley coffee. I understand that I am not very good at cooking, I usually break two eggs, scramble them and then add the vegetables that I cut with a knife. After that, I already have energy to continue with my activities during the day.
In the afternoon:
I am a special case when it comes to food. I practice the lipophilic diet so I have to eat something every two hours. I always eat a lot of cooked vegetables and animal protein. I avoid fats, fried foods, and soda. Although my food seems boring, it is not because I combine the flavors and everything tastes delicious. I never eat at nights.
A special dish for a special occasion is...
On special occasions like the usual traditional food. I have no restrictions but I try not to exceed calories. I like Peruvian food but I also understand that it is not healthy. That´s why I generally avoid eating the traditional food of our country.
