There was once a white tailed deer who lived in Illinois and had a dream of traveling to the capital, Springfield. He grew up alone and was surrounded by native violet flowers that he loved to smell.

The white tailed deer decided one day that he was going to leave his violet flowers and travel to Springfield, where Abraham Lincoln once lived.

The white tailed deer began his travels towards Springfield and came across a monarch butterfly. The white tailed deer asked the monarch butterfly if she would like to travel with him, and she agreed.

As the white tailed deer and the monarch butterfly begin to travel toward Springfield, they stop to have a snack. They choose to eat their favorite, popcorn.

Once they were finished with their snack, the white tailed deer and monarch butterfly continued on their travels, then they stopped to take a break under a white oak tree.
