We picked three materials; cardboard, tinfoil and cloth. We carried out an experiment to see which material was the best insulator.
We poured hot chocolate into the three cups wrapped up in the chosen material. We then measured the temperature every thirty seconds for two minutes to see which material was the best insulator.

This cup was wrapped in cardboard.
Cardboard is a very good heat insulator.
After two minutes the hot chocolate was 61 degrees. It cooled by 24 degrees.

This cup was wrapped in Tinfoil.
Tinfoil is an excellent heat insulator.
After two minutes the hot chocolate was 70 degrees. It cooled by 15 degrees.

This cup was wrapped in cloth. This is a good insulator.

After two minutes the hot chocolate was was 60 degrees. It cooled by 20 degrees.
CONCLUSION

Hello Guzzler, After carrying out this experiment I think the tinfoil is the best material you should use to keep your hot chocolate warm !
Thank you so much Jeff!!!!!
