Hi there! My name is Merve and I created this book to tell you about the things I like! Here we go...

Born and bred in one of the most popular tourism destinations of the county, I always felt very proud to tell that I'm from Fethiye. I lived in this gorgeous town until university. And it is not suprising that I love everything about the sea...

I'm really keen on sea food, yeap all kinds of it including octopus and crabs! I love any water-related sport such as swimming, diving, snorkelling, fishing.    I like sailing too but unfortunately cannot find the opportunity every time I wish for it. Who knows may be I can have my own boat one day, then I can set sails anytime I desire!!

After leaving my hometown for further education, I found out that the sea is not the only thing that gives me comfort. During my teaching years in Rize; mountains, hiking and camping became indespensible parts of my life.

I love the serenity they offer.

And of course, there is coffee. Coffee has been my favorite since my teenage years. I love the smell of it, I love the warmth of a nicely blended ground in winter days, I love the refreshing feeling of an iced-coffee in a crazy hot summer day.. So in a nutshell, I love coffee and everything about it.

Travelling!! I enjoy all kinds of transportation but railways are always my favorite. I just love the trains and the breathtaking views they offer to us. I also love learning about different cultures and trying local food. After this horrible pandemic, my first destination will be Göbeklitepe!

If you haven't noticed so far, let me tell you a secret; I'm an outdoor person. I enjoy everything under the blue sky, including the extreme sports such as tandem-paragliding, zipline, bungee jumping. I really like feeling the adreline pumping in my veins.
