Once upon a time, the Backyardigans embarked on a journey to China. They took a  yacht across the ocean to get to china.

When they were disembarking from the boat, they were excited to learn that they were staying in the fanciest hotel in all of Hong Kong. Along with the fanciest hotel, they will also be given the nicest dinner every night.

The next morning, they went on a long nature walk. As they were walking, they met a mysterious man. This man was Lao-Tzu. Lao-Tzu gave them a challenge that they could not go a week living under the principles of Taoism.

“What is the Tao?” asked Pablo.
”The Tao is the path that you must follow. You can understand this by really looking at how nature works. We must find a balance between opposites. Do not honor men of worth, do not educate people, and do not teach clever people how to act,” said Lao-Tzu.

After the talk, the Backyardigans were checked out of their fancy hotel room and moved to a cottage in the middle of the woods.
