There once was a boy named Shaun, he liked collecting rocks of all types. Shiny, smooth, large, small, grey, or white, they all were his as far as he cared.

Then one day, as his class went outside for recess, Shaun noticed his classmates, Thomas and Bill, looking at the shiniest rock he'd ever seen.

Jealous, Shaun approached and played with their rock recklessly, hoping they'd leave and that he could have the rock that shined like the Sun for himself.

Then, the rock fell and broke like a glass bowl falling from the cabinet. "Oops, haha! Oh well!" Shaun joyful exclaimed. Ben and Thomas broke into tears.

"It's time to go indoors now class!" The teacher yelled, and with that Shaun reached down to grab half of the rock, but noticed his classmates were crying. "Why are you crying?" He asked. "You broke our rock!" Thomas sobbed.

Shaun went the rest of the day filled with sadness for being so reckless with his classmates' rock. "What's wrong Shaun?" His mom asked. "I was reckless and hurt my classmates feelings..." Shaun replied.
