Dedicated to my teacher Carlos Morales for his patience and dedication to be the best math teacher I have ever had.

Blaise Pascal born in June 19, 1623 and died August 19, 1662.

He was known as a philosopher,

studies and interests:
When Pascal's education began, he turned to languages, especially Latin and Greek. Still, Etienne's plan failed: the fact that mathematics was a forbidden subject made the subject even more interesting for the curious boy, who at the age of 12 began to explore geometry on his own. He made up his own terminology, without having learned the official mathematical expressions, and quickly managed to figure out that the sum of the angles in a triangle is equal to two right angles.
Pascal's father was surprised. In response to Pascal's strong attraction, Etienne allowed him to read the works of the ancient Greek mathematician Euclid. His father also allowed Pascal to accompany him to the meetings at the Mersenne Academy in Paris. It was there that Blaise, at the age of 16, presented some of his early theorems, including his Mystical Hexagram, to some of the leading mathematical thinkers of the time.
In 1640, Pascal also published his first written work, An Essay on Conic Sections. The writings went a long way toward taking a leap forward in projective geometry, which involved transferring a 3-D object to a 2-D field.

Some important events of his childhood were that his mom died when he was 3, so he was raised and taught by his father. He was very close to his sister Gilberte and Jaqueline.
Pascal's dad and his sisters moved to Paris in 1631.
When he was 12 he began exploring geometry on his own. He made up his own terms, without having learned the official math, and quickly investigated to see that the sum of the angles of a triangle equals two right angles.
