Get out of here, Move forward now!!! 

First in the book we have where Samuel is in the woods hunting while his  parents are at camp. He does not know the British are at the camp taking his parents.

"pow pow" Men look in the house to see if someone else is left.

Samuel has meet this girl and her family after finding out his parents are gone. When they sat down to eat her parents got up and they where shot dead. Now Samuel has Annie to watch over because she is too young to take care of her self.

We must hide so we don't die like your parents did.

There is this man named Amber and he has found Annie and Samuel with the help of his dog. Annie and Samuel where trying to hide because of what just happened to Annie's parents.

Just come out you have been found and you can not escape.

Put the blanket over the shotgun and if you see the British act like you are my helpers. 

Now Annie and Samuel have decided that Amber is nice and he could help them. There is no way Samuel could take care of himself and Annie with the war going on.

Amber, Samuel and Annie have been going along for a while now. They have now come up on another family coming from Philadelphia. 

You guys can stay in the barn tonight to sleep and we can give you a warm meal.

Amber, Samuel and Annie have been walking a while when they saw a house up from the road. They went up to it and it was a man Amber has seen before. They help him out on sharping knives. He gives them food and a place to sleep.

Amber, Samuel and Annie are now back on the road to find Samuel's parents and to go to Philadelphia. They still have a ways to go before they can get there but it will be safer there.

Annie you stay back with the wagon, Samuel and I will go and look for his parents. We must cross this river first.

They have now come up on the river that will take them to where Samuels parents are. Annie must stay with the cart so no Americans take it and to make sure it stays safe.
