Would you like to learn more about our 

students' heroes?

Let's meet with the Heroes in Literature from our students' point of view.

My hero is Belle from the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast because he knew that the Beast could be a gentleman, not a monster as everyone thought.
Belle reminds us to judge a person by his character, not by his appearance.
She is also modest, kind, polite and loves books.
All the princesses have a very beautiful story, but my favorite is Bella's story.

My hero is Hansel from the tale of Hansel and Gretel. Because she is very sensitive, clever and kind. She is always hopeful although her step mother wants to get rid of them. She always takes care of her brother like a mother. I think she is a hero of her brother.

My hero is for sure Cinderella . She is a beautiful and kind person. She can be an example for all the girls, because, despite her situation( stepmother, stepsisters), she is always smiling and friendly. It is a story based on kindness, love and hope.

My hero is Snow White from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I love Snow White very much because she is innocent and very beautiful. She has a pretty face. Also I love this story because it is so nice to dream of dwarfs while reading and it has a happy end.

My hero is Rapunzel. She is very beautiful and kind. Also she has very beautiful long blonde hair. Even though the witch imprisons her in a towel she never loses her hope. At the end of the story she meets with prince and cures his blindness with her teardrop. She is also a hero of the prince.

My hero is Papa Smurf. He is a short and cute smurf with his white beard and moustache. He always wears red clothes. He is the leader of all the smurfs. He is a talented smurf. He can make magical potions. He is a real hero for me because he helps all the smurfs when they are in need. Also, all the smurfs come to him to ask someting and take his opinion. Papa smurf is very brave and a big hero for the smurfs because he protects their village against Gargamel and his cat.

My hero is the girl in red riding hood. She is happy. I love happy people. She wears red. My favourite colour is red. Why is she my hero? Because she wants to make her grandma happy. She wants to bring food. She is brave. She walks for hours in the forest. She isn't afraid of wolf. She is a real hero.

My fairy tale hero is the Beauty from Beauty and the Beast. She loves flowers especially roses. She is my hero because she is hardworking. She doesn't tell a lie. She is forgiving. She likes sharing. She cares about people's character, not their appearance. So I love her so much.

Nasreddin Hodja has a sense of humour. He is a folk hero. He lived in the 13th century. But today people tell his humorous stories and teach lessons about life.Also there is a fest about him.

Muhaned.adnan-Tuğba DÜZ, Adnan Menderes Imam Hatip 

SABİHA GÖKÇEN
Gökçen was born on March 22, 1913, in Bursa. Sabiha Gökçen was a Turkish aviator. She was the world's first female fighter pilot. She was 23 years old when she became fighter pilot. 
Atatürk adapted her when she asked for educational support. She was a brilliant student.

CAHİT ARF
(11 October 1910 – 26 December 1997)
He was a worldwide famous mathematician and physicist. Arf received numerous awards for his contributions to mathematics, among them are: İnönü Award, TÜBİTAK Science Award, and Commandeur des Palmes Academiques (France). Arf's portrait is depicted on the reverse of the Turkish 10 lira banknote

MİMAR SİNAN
He was born in Kayseri in 1489. He became the chief of architect of the Ottoman Empire. He served to the country during three Ottoman Sultans (Kanunu Sultan Süleyman, Selim II, Murat III).
He designed and built mosques, palaces, hospitals, schools, etc. İstanbul Blue Mosque, Edirne Selimiye Mosque are some of his famous works. He is a real hero because he built many useful places for people in need to use like hospitals, water ways, etc. He died in 1558.

Ahmet.Kazımpaşa - Abdurrrahim ALDEMİR

FATİH SULTAN MEHMET
He was born on 30 March, 1432 in Edirne. His father was Murat II. He became Sultan twice when he was 12 and 19 years old. He always wanted to conquer İstanbul. He conquered İstanbul in 1453. He ruled the Ottoman Empire for 30 years. He was a brave soldier and excellent statesman. He died on 3 May, 1481.

İBN-İ SİNA
He was born in the nearby Efşene village and died in 1037 in the city of Hamedan. He wrote 200 books in different fields and he focused on medicine and philosophy. Ibn-i Sina received medical education alongside a physician named Kuşyar.

AZİZ SANCAR
He is a hero in the field of science. He is a molecular biologist. He won the Noble Prize in Chemistry in 2015. He was born in 1946 in Mardin. He has eight spouse. He graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He got married with Gwen Sancar. They founded the Aziz and Gwen Sancar foundation together.

CONSTANTIN BRÂNCUȘI 

        Constantin Brancusi is our national hero. He is a famous sculptor,known in the whole world for his works: The Endless Column, The Kissing Kate and the Silent Table. His works are amazing and we are lucky,because all these are in our city,  Targu -Jiu.
