I am tired. I feel hungry. Let's eat.

Okey, let's cook.

I feel happy and energetic. I like my doll.

I am surprised. Thank you Esila.

It's time to go to school. See you, bye!

A lion was asleep in the sun one day. A little mouse came out to play. The little mouse ran up the lion’s neck and slid down his back. The lion caught him with a great big smack! ‘I’m going to eat you!’ the lion roared, his mouth open wide. ‘No, no, please don’t!’ the little mouse cried. ‘Be kind to me and one day I’ll help you.’ ‘I’m a lion! You’re a mouse! What can you do?’ The lion laughed, very hard, and the mouse ran away. But the mouse was out walking the very next day. He heard a big roar, and squeaked when he saw the king of the jungle tied to a tree. But the mouse had a plan to set him free. The mouse worked quickly and chewed through the rope. The lion said, ‘Oh little mouse, I had no hope. You were right, little mouse – thank you, I’m free. You’re the best friend there ever could be!’

MY NEW SHOES

Every year I buy new shoes.

Because my feet get bigger and bigger.

Why does this happen?

Mom says it’s because I am getting older.

I enjoy shopping for new shoes.

Sometimes I buy green ones.

Sometimes I buy blue ones.

This year I will buy blue and black ones.

My new shoes will impress my friends.

I hope my feet continue to grow so that I can buy new shoes.

One day, two best friends were walking on a lonely and dangerous path through a jungle. As the sun began to set, they grew afraid but held on to eachother. Suddenly, they saw a bear in their path. One of the boys ran to the nearest tree and climbed it in a jiffy. The other boy did not know how to climb the tree by himself, so he lay on the ground, pretending to be dead. The bear approached the boy on the ground and sniffed around his head. After appearing in the boy's ear, the bear went on its way. The boy on the tree climbed down and asked his friend what the bear had whispered in his ear. He replied,' Do not trust friends who do not care for you.'

İt’s a sunny summer day. The grass is Green.the sky is blue. Grasshopper is jumping up and down. He is singing a song.He is happy. Grasshopper sees Ant.She is working hard. She is finding corn.Come talk with me,Ant.let’s sing a song!! Says   grasshopper. Work,work,work! Save,save,save!  There is no time.winter is coming! Says Ant.winter?No! İt’s a sunny summer day says Grasshopper. Come work with me,Grasshopper.You need food, says Ant.work,work,work Save,save,save.Winter is coming Grasshopper does not work with Ant.He does not save food for winter.Ant works hard.She saves lots of food.The grass changes.The trees change.Winter is coming! Says Ant.Winter is cold.Grasshopper has no food.He is hungry.Now Grasshopper knows. Work,work,work Save,save,save.And you will not be hungry.

It was nearly Christmas. Katie woke up and found that the world was white and magical.  ‘Snow!’ she shouted. ‘Snow for Christmas!’  She ran outside and danced in the snow.  Her brother Eddie came out too. They made a big round snowball and asmall one. They put them together and made a huge snowman.  ‘Hello,’ he said. ‘It’s Christmas. Would you like a present?’  ‘Yes, please!’ they said.  The snowman waved his arms. Silver crystal snowflakes filled the sky. It wasso beautiful.  ‘We must give you a present too,’ said Katie. They gave the snowman acarrot for a nose, a scarf for his neck and a hat for his head.  ‘Happy Christmas!’ they said. The snow stopped and the sun came out. The snowman started to melt.  ‘Goodbye,’ he said. ‘Build me again next year!’

Adam is walking. He sees a bluebird up in the tree. He wonders what it could be.

He opens his phone and searches it up. It’s a blue jay. Adam has never seen a blue jay before.

He takes a picture. The bird flies off. Adam will never forget the blue bird he saw.

One day I had a dream. In my dream we were joining the lottery draw with my family and we won the jackpot. Then we were buying a summer house from Italy. I like swimming very much. I like playing football with my brother. We swam with him and played football in my dream. But we dislike sleeping at all. I woke up later. It turns out I had a dream and I said oh my god. It is my best dream. Then I went to my parents and told them about this happy dream and we always laughed and we had fun.

I am going to the forest. I am seeing a big tree house.There is an elf in the tree house.The elf is calling me in to the tree house.There are a lot of gift boxes for the Christmas.The elf is giving me a fancy gift box.I like fancy things very much.I am getting on the train and  watching   the snow  from the window.At the same time I am hearing my  mom’s  voice’’wake up Ece!  It’s   eight o’clock!  It’s time for school!’JJJ

The lucky puppy

On a cold winter afternoon, I was returning home from school. At every second step, I was clenching my fists to warm my frozen hands. Suddenly, from somewhere in the frozen bushes on the sidewalk, I thought I heard a faint whimper. Frightened, I reached out and pushed aside the ragged blanket. I was greeted by a drugstore and two brown eyes. They belonged to a limp, chilly puppy. He looked at me, begging me, as if to save him. What should I do with him? Should I look for his master? But where? Leave him there? But won't it freeze from the cold? Should I take him home? I knew my mother didn't agree to keep animals in the house. After a few seconds of internal debate, I took my heart in my teeth and decided that the best solution for the poor puppy would be to take him with me. At the door, with the puppy in my arms, my heart was a little tight. I was afraid my mother might send me back to where I found him.

My dear, you don't even know what joy you made me! I didn't think I'd get a live gift for my birthday.

Thank you, mother, for trusting me and for agreeing to save a puppy soul together!
