Zeus was the king of the hill . His symbols were lighting bolts or thunder bolts , they were made by the Cyclopes ( his uncles ) . His roman name is Jupiter

Hera was Zeus wife and sister  but that was the way in Olympus . Hera's roman name is  Juno , she is queen of the gods . Hera was the guardian and all the Greeks loved her . Hera also tended to get jealous of Zeus girlfriends and did harsh things . Her symbol was peacock  

Poseidon or Neptune was Zeus brother and was the god of the sea and sometimes earthquakes 

Hades or Pluto was the god of the underworld and the dead , they sometimes called him Dis or Dis Pater . He was Zeus brother and he married Persephone after kidnapping her. His symbol was cornucopia and scepter

Athena or Minerva to the Romans . She is the goddess or wisdom and war  , and the protector and namesake of the city Athens . She carried Zeus's shield , called aegis , the owl was her bird  

Apollo was a twin , he was the god of the sun or light ,poetry music & medicine and was famous for   his oracles . His symbol was  the gold bow and arrows 

Artemis was Apollo's twin . Her roman name was Dianna , and he was the goddess of hunting , chastity and the moon . he protected women and children
