Konya is located in a large fertile plain in Anatolia. A town has existed on its site since at least 1200 b.c.e.

Rumi is described as the most popular poet ever . He wrote the ‘Mathnawi’, a series of six books of poetry and a spiritual writing that teaches Sufis how to reach their goal of being in true love with God. The ‘Mathnawi’ is considered to be one of the greatest poems ever written. The legacy of Rumi lives on in the city of Konya.

Local cuisine  includes dishes made of bulgur wheat and lamb meat. Konya’s most popular dish is ‘etli ekmek’,9bread with meat) Similar to ‘lahmacun’, a thin layer of bread is rolled out and topped with some spicy lamb, peppers, onions and tomatoes. Konya is also well known for its sweets, the most famous being ‘cezerye’, an old Turkish sweet made of carrots, and ‘pişmaniye’.

    Beysehir  Lake National Park located at the southwest of Konya Province is the Turkey’s largest closed watershed with an overall area of 88.750 ha. 

          Surrounded by mountains with snowy peaks all   seasons, Beysehir is the third largest lake of Anatolia.

Don Quixote (Spain) presents Serbia

         Sancho...do you know which is the capital of Serbia?

Yes, of course, it's Belgrade, almost in the center of the country, where the Danubio river meets the the Sava river and where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkans, and literally means "The White City".

The population in Belgrade is  1,1 million. The population in Serbia 6,9 million. 

The climate is humid subtropical.

The first urban settlement was built here in the 3rd century BC by the Celts. Not far from Belgrade, is Vinca, a settlement older than the Mesopotamia.

The Saint Sava Temple is the largest church in Southeastern Europe.

There are many monasteries throughout Serbia, some dating back as far as the 12th century:

Of course, some of the most important places are the street Knez Mihailova , Skadarlija  which is an  old  part  of  the town, paved  with  cobblestones,  as  was  the  custom  in the Ottoman and Kalemegdan, an old  fortress, the biggest tourist attraction  in Belgrade. Around 2  million people visit it every year.

Gallipoli is a small town located in the Apulia region (Puglia) almost at the end of Italy, on the “high heel”

Margherita di Savoia is a little unknown gem in the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, about an hour away from Bari airport. It is home to the biggest salt flats in Europe.

One of the best places to visit in Puglia is Monopol. Some of the most famous attractions in Monopoli are Porto Ghiacciolo, Cala Porto Vecchia, the Castle of Carlo V, Cattedrale Maria Santissima della Madia, and more.
