Once upon a time, there was a cute dog who lived in the field.

His name was Spike. He liked taking walks among the trees.

One day he saw an eagle flying over the mountains. He found the idea of being able to fly and see everything from that height very interesting.

At that moment he realized that he did not have any special abilities like birds, because he could not fly.

One day he observed that birds could fly because they had wings. He decided that he would get wings so he could fly like them.

He came up with the idea that he could use the leaves of the largest trees to make wings.

With his new wings, Spike was ready to jump off the mountain and fly like birds. In fact, he was very nervous. "I am going to fly like birds!" he exclaimed.

Spike jumped off the mountain and hit his head really hard on the ground. His plan didn't work. He sadly expressed: I'm not going to try to fly again.

Spike was very frustrated and sad because his plan didn´t work. Was he actually trying to fulfill an impossible dream?
