Mexican culture
Mexican culture is a vast territory that encompasses enormous identity differences. The variety of influences throughout the history of Mexico, from the ancient Mayan civilization to the dominant European presence, has shaped and defined the captivating country that is Mexico today.

The music:
Music is a fundamental element of Mexican culture. From current rock to mariachi and indigenous sounds, there is a wide variety of musical styles throughout Mexico.
The art:
Mexico has an enormous wealth of pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern art that can be seen both in its museums, in public areas and in the abundant remains of indigenous architecture. Mexican art, with its bright color and unique style, is one of the most dynamic and bewitching elements of the heterogeneous national culture.
Cinema:
Mexican cinema has well-established foundations that date back to the 19th century. It is an internationally acclaimed and respected cinema, with a prolific production by famous directors. Mexico's film festivals also have enormous cultural importance, with the Guadalajara International Film Festival being considered the most prestigious in all of Latin America.
Gastronomy in Mexico
Mexican cuisine is known for its succulence and its great variety. Its origins date back to the pre-Hispanic period, when a large number of dishes revolved around corn, along with other ingredients such as: chili peppers, beans, pumpkins, avocado, tomato, cocoa, nopal, rabbit meat, armadillo and turkey, as well as insects, frogs, turtles and a wide variety of fruits such as plums and pitayas.
Thus were born the dishes that have made Mexican Gastronomy world famous such as: mole, chiles en nogada, lime soup, cochinita pibil, carnitas and the famous tacos, among others.
Drinks such as tequila, beer, fresh waters of various tropical fruits, atole, champurrado and of course chocolate also emerged.



Parties
For the most popular festivities in Mexico there are some like
Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe: On December 12 of each year the Virgin of Guadalupe, or the Morena Virgin, as many know her is honored. This celebration takes on special importance in Mexico City since there resides the Basilica of Our Lady. Lady of Guadalupe.
Carnivals of Veracruz and Mazatlán: It has been baptized as "one of the most joyous in the world." During this carnival it is impossible not to catch the good humor and the Buenos Aires atmosphere enlivened with marimbas that, more than one, make people dance all night. It takes place the nine days before Ash Wednesday.
Inns: These are parties full of games and songs where the breaking of the traditional piñatas stands out.
Day of the Dead: It is one of the richest and most representative traditions of Mexico; in it the festive character of the Mexican is manifested before death.
