INTRODUCTION

The Vietnam War was a military conflict that occurred between 1955 and 1975 where South Vietnam fought North Vietnam and the United States participated in this conflict by helping South Vietnam with equipment and money.

CAUSES

- Vietnam was under the tutelage of France for years and they did not want to be under the tutelage of any country again.

-In 1954, the country was divided into two opposing countries with ideological differences: North Vietnam, which implemented a communist regime and a planned economy; South Vietnam defended liberal democracy, capitalism and market economy.
