





Elvis Aaron Presley was born in January 1935, he was one of the most popular American singers and cultural icons of the 20th century. He refers to himself as The King of Rock and Roll or simply The King.

His artistic career began in 1954 when the owner of Sun Records, Sam Phillips, saw in him the way to expand African-American music.
Accompanied by guitarist Scotty Moore and double bassist Bill Black, he was one of the creators of rockabilly, a fast tempo style driven by a steady beat consisting of a fusion of country music and rhythm and blues.

The first single "Heartbreak Hotel", released in January 1956, became a number one hit. Soon, after his appearances in the media, he became the main figure of the popular sound of rock and roll, with a series of television appearances and hits that reached the top of the sales charts.

His energetic performances, especially of African American songs, and his uninhibited style made him enormously popular and controversial. Months later, in November of that same year, he made his film debut with the movie Love Me Tender.
Drafted for military service in 1958, he resumed his artistic career two years later, some of his material reaching greater commercial success since then.He had a versatile voice and unusual success in many genres, including country, pop, ballads, gospel and blues.

He is also the best-selling soloist in the history of popular music.
Nominated for 14 Grammys, he won three and received one in the career art category at the age of 36, as well as being featured in various music halls of fame. Elvis had a habit of going to bed late at his parties, rushing into the morning watching movies or playing racquetball.

This closed-court, squash-like sport became popular in Memphis during the 1960s. In 1975, he decided to bring his new hobby closer to Graceland, building a building with an indoor court and a living room.
Through the glass screen, they could watch the games while chatting and listening to music.
Elvis Presley passed away suddenly at age 42 in 1977, and his last days were dire according to his personal nurse.

Jackson won 13 Grammy Awards and sold around 750 million records. He also stood out for his charitable work, helping a multitude of charitable causes through his foundation, especially those related to childhood.

While Neverland, his huge ranch, became a symbol and place of pilgrimage for his loyal fans, they were extravagant parties like few others, more and more fabulous gifts were exchanged. They did presentations at Neverland with the elephant Gipsy and the entire zoo he had at the neverland ranch.


A battered image, economic hardships and health problems marked his last years. Difficulties with justice led to the closure of his residence, the famous Neverland Ranch.
Finally, in March 2009 he announced a concert tour called This Is It, which had started in London in July of the same year. His unexpected death from a heart attack, a few weeks before the start of the tour, caused great commotion throughout the world.
