Cephalopods aren't picky eaters. They eat anything but plants! The only cephalopods that eat plants are snails.
Their food includes crustaceans, fish, bivalves, jellyfish, and even other cephalopods. They are usually carnivores.
Snails are usually herbivores since they eat plants.
ANUS
STOMACH
DIGESTIVE GLAND
Cephalopods use absorption and excretion to eat. They capture their food with their tentacles and take small bites.
Absorption is when the food is captured and transformed into energy. Excretion is when waste is removed from the body and helps the food digest.

Cephalopods are also discontinuous feeders. They have large meals and store food for later digestion.
