Numa noite escura e fria de inverno, numa floresta densa e lúgubre, vagueia uma íbis encantada. A Morte, sua amiga, convida-a a seguir o grupo de migrantes que fogem, em busca de um mundo de Paz.

Andando pela floresta, a íbis e a Morte encontram uma bolsa e tentam entregá-la ao grupo que caminha à sua frente.

On a dark and cold winter night, in a dense and dark forest, an enchanted ibis wanders. Death, her friend, invites her to follow the group of migrants who are fleeing, in search of a world of Peace.

Walking through the forest, the ibis and Death find a bag and try to give it to the group walking ahead of them. 

A Morte tenta comunicar com os migrantes. Mostra-lhes a mala e eles convidam-na a acompanhá-los, acreditando que era mais um dos seus.

Eles continuam a caminhar pela floresta escura e, a meio da noite, acabam por se instalar num espaço aberto, onde podem cozinhar algo para comer e descansar um pouco.

Death tries to communicate with the migrants. She shows them her suitcase and they invite her to accompany them, believing it was another one of theirs.

They continue walking through the dark forest and, in the middle of the night, they end up settling in an open space, where they can cook something to eat and rest for a while.

Enquanto dormiam, o urso polar é chamado pela Morte que parece querer algo, mas logo ele se afasta...à volta da Morte as plantas tornavam-se cinzas. À volta daquele ser pressentia-se a desgraça e o urso temeu pela sua vida.

While they were sleeping, the polar bear is called by Death who seems to want something, but he soon walks away...around Death the plants turned to ashes. Around that being one sensed doom and the bear feared for his life.

De madrugada, acordaram e viram a sua única salvação! Finalmente, um barco na borda de um rio que os levaria para um outro país. 

Apressaram-se a entrar no barco para que pudessem navegar, porém este era demasiado pequeno. Conseguiram embarcar todos, mas o mar é implacável e a sua força acabou por destruir o barco. 

O naufrágio era inevitável...nem todos sobreviveram.

At dawn, they woke up and saw their only salvation! Finally, a boat on the edge of a river would take them to another country. 

They hurried to get on the boat so that they could sail, but it was too small. They all managed to get on board, but the sea is implacable and its strength ended up destroying the boat. 

The sinking was inevitable... not everyone survived.

Os animais fizeram um minuto de silêncio em homenagem aos que pereceram. 

A Coelha está entre os que perderam a vida e a Morte mantém-na nos seus braços.

Com tristeza, os sobreviventes continuam a sua caminhada. Cansados, mas sem perder a esperança, o grupo acaba por encontrar um lugar que os acolhesse.

Finalmente, um lugar com luz, com VIDA.

The animals held a minute's silence in honor of those who perished. 

The Rabbit is among those who lost their lives and Death holds her in his arms.

With sadness, the survivors continue their walk. Tired, but without losing hope, the group eventually finds a place that would welcome them.

Finally, a place with light, with LIFE.
