or how we saved the World.

Once upon a time there lived Air, Soil and Water. They were great friends and always supported each other. They liked hanging out together. But they had an enemy- Carbin Dioxide, who was evil and cruel.

Carbon Dioxide wanted to ruin the world. He had a twin brother called Pollution. They were always together.

Carbon Dioxide and Pollution had a plan. They invited Air, Soil and Water to their birthday party.

Air said:" Great! They want to make friends! Let's be friends!" But Soil didn't believe Carbon Dioxide and his brother and didn't want to go to the party. However, Water added: " Come on, guys! Let's have fun! If something bad happens, I'll help you!"

So they went to the party. Carbon dioxide and Pollution made a big cake. But it wasn't a good one, there was a poison!

So Air, Water and Soil brought their presents.

Okulumuza geldim ve sınıfıma girdim. Öğretmenim hemen benden sonra sınıfa girdi. Ağzından bir cümle çıktı. Toprak anayı duydunuz mu? Bu cümle çok dikkatimi çekti. Toprak bizim anamız nasıl olur diye düşündüm. Öğretmenim anlattıkça aklımda birşeyler oluşmaya başladı. Toprak Ana bizi besleyen, düşünen ve mutlu eden kendi annemiz gibiydi.

Öğretmenimiz , haydi şimdi dışarıda toprağı inceleyeceğiz dedi ve dışarı çıktık. Büyüteçlerle değerlendirmede bulunduk.

İnceleme için bir sürü böcek ,solucan ,yaprak,taş ve bitki kökü gördük. Çok eğlendik. Solucanlar toprağın akciğeriymiş, öğretmenimiz hep böyle söylerdi.

Solucanlar toprağı havalandırır ve toprağa faydalı sıvı salgilarmış. Elimle dokunamadığım solucanlara artık elimle tutabiliyordum.

Anladım ki her canlının doğaya mutlaka ama mutlaka yararı varmış. Bundan sonra Toprak Anaya daha fazla saygı duyup onu koruyacağım ve onu çok seveceğim.

Emine Kuzu Akkaya öğretmenim bir gün ''Stem Everyway That We Can'' projemizle ilgili sınıfımıza ödev verdi.Ödevimiz evimizde bir saksıda ya da bahçede bitki yetiştirmekti.Bu beni çok heyecanlandırdı.Eve gider gitmez anneme hemen bir tohum ya da fide almasını söyledim.Alır almaz heyecanlandım.Öncelikle saksıya toprağı koyduk.

Yeterli miktarda toprak ekledikten sonra, tohumu ortaya serpiştirdik.Sonra annem en önemli noktaya geldiğimizi söyledi. ''CAN SUYU'' Evet evet yanlış duymadınız. ''can suyu'' diye bir şey varmış.Bitki ekildikten ya da fide dikildikten sonra ilk dökülen su ''can suyu'' oluyormuş. Ve şaşırmıştım bir avuç toprak, su ve havanın birleşmesiyle doğa nasıl bu kadar canlanabiliyordu.İşte bir sonraki fotoğraf bunun kanıtı.
