Hello everyone,

My name is Mr. Earth and i am here to help my friends form Arsakeio Primary School of Ionnina to save the planet!!!

As he passed over Athens, the capital of Greece, big clouds of smoke blinded him. He was wondering.

Where does all that exhaust come from?

These big clouds of smoke come from the factories, replied the sun!

Mr, Earth, hearing all this, decides that something had to be done. People have to respect their environment and not pollute it with all these exhaust gases, because the increase in exhaust gas will lead to global warming!!!

Continuing his journey, he reached some hillsides that had been burned and was informed that two years ago large fires had broken out!!! Its our opportunity to act. Time for tree planting! Nature gives us oxygen.

Suddenly, he heard the seagulls and the waves splashing. These sounds led him to the Mediterranean sea, but he didn't like what he saw.

Coasts were full of garbage. Sea pollution had to shake people up and think that they are visitors at this planet. People should recycle often and have bins in every coast.

Frustrated by what has discovered, Mr Earth decides to follow the others Eco Heroes journeys around the world to find out what is happening to the rest of the planet.

He both travels around space and meets with eco heroes of other countries. He also starts writing a diary in which he relates his travel experiences.

March 5th

Dear Diary,

In nowadays I do not

feel well. I feel sick. I

cannot breath and I

have a cough. I also

have a high fever.

People should do

something immediately.

March 6th

Today I feel better. Tomorrow I want to make a hot air balloon tour and see what is going on.

March 7th

Mr. Earth starts its travel and he meets with Mr. Eco saver.

Hi!

I promise I will help you to be healthy again.

Mr. Eco saver tells to Mr. Earth his

missions for saving the planet. He promises to keep Mr. Earth safe and healthy.

March 7th

Today I met Mr. Eco Saver. He told me what he did to keep seas , oceans and marine life healthy and clean. He told me that he warned people not to pour oil wastes into the sink.

I got so happy to hear that ! Now, I feel better !

OIL WASTE

What are you cooking for dinner ?

I am cooking chicken with fried potatoes.

Hmmm! Yummy yummy! It smells delicious !

Would you help me to set the table, please?

Sure, mom.

Thank you honey !

All the family sits and has dinner together. While having dinner they also talk about their daily routines. 

After dinner, Zeynep helps her mother to tidy the dining table. She carries dishes to the kitchen.

I will help you to wash the dishes.

Thank you honey. You are such a kind and helpful girl.

OK ! mom. 

Darling would you please pour the oil pan into the sink and then put into the dishwasher.

She moves towards the pan and takes it to the sink.

Then suddenly a bright light appears. Zeynep and her mother get surprised and look with amazing eyes.

Stop ! Don't pour ! Please !

Zeynep cries ; 

Who are you? What are you doing here?

Zeynep's mother also cries:

Stay away from us !

Please don't panic. I am Eco-saver. I help to protect Earth! PLease let me explain ! Please listen and you will understand.

OK !

You shouldn't pour this fried oil into the sink. It pollutes our World.

But how ?

When you pour this oil into the sink, it pollutes our water, lakes, rivers and seas.

It also blocks our pipes and also sewage. 

The oxygen level at seas, lakes also gets lower and this causes danger for fish and marine life all.

Wow! That is terrible! Poor marine life!

Each 1 litre oil poured into sinks pollutes 1 million water and this equals for a yearly clean water of 15 people.

So please do not pour this oil but keep it in a plastic bottle or jar and give to municipalities in your city

You are right Eco-saver. We didn't know that before. Thank you for informing us about oil wastes. Now, we won't pour this oil into sink but keep it separate in a plastic bottle.

Today I met a boy called Jack. He promised her mother to save the Earth. He said that He would fight with pollution. I am so happy . I feel better day by day !

It's my birthday! I'm happy. I'm surrounded by friends. Mom made the cake. I got a great gift, a toy rocket.

The party's over. It's time to go to sleep.

My rocket's getting bigger. Curiously, I got inside her. The rocket took off.

That's a lot of smoke! The factories pollute the air. They burn oil, coal, natural gas to give energy. Here, the pollution is high.

We're getting further and further away from Earth.

The Sun warms and illuminates the Earth. On earth life blooms.

Soon, we'll be out of the atmosphere.

Dear Diary,

Last night I had an interesting dream ! Actually it was a nightmare!
