Once upon a time, there was a man named 

Prometheus. Prometheus constantly annoyed 

Zeus. In fact, most humans annoyed Zeus. So, 

Zeus took fire away from the humans. 

Prometheus decided it wasn't fair of Zeus to 

take the fire, so he stole the fire back. Zeus 

was angered by Prometheus's actions and he 

came up with a plan that would not only 

punish Prometheus, but also his brother, 

Epimetheus.

Zeus decided that Prometheus must face the 

worst of the punishment. He placed 

Prometheus on top of a mountain with two 

guards. Prometheus was a very interesting 

individual. He had one perfect quality, a never 

ending heart. So, he was to stay on top of the 

mountain Zeus sent him to for the rest of his 

life.

For Epimetheus, Zeus had a different kind of 

punishment in mind for him. At this time, there 

had been no women on the land. Zeus's plan 

was to create a women made out of clay and 

amazingly beautiful for Epimetheus to marry. 

Before Prometheus was punished, he gave 

some advice to his younger brother, 

Epimetheus. He told him to never accept a gift 

from Zeus. Epimetheus completely ignored his 

brothers advice and took this women, named 

Pandora, to marry.
