Aa is for acid.
A chemical substance that neutralizes alkalis, dissolves
some metals, and turns litmus red; typically, a corrosive or
sour-tasting liquid of this kind.
A substance with a sour taste.
Bb is for battery.
A container consisting of one or more cells, in which
chemical energy is converted into electricity and used as a
source of power.
the act of battering, beating, or pounding

Cc is for crystals.
A piece of a homogeneous solid substance having a natural
geometrically regular form with symmetrically arranged
plane faces.
highly transparent glass with a high refractive index
Dd is for distance.
An amount of space between two things or
people.
make (someone or something) far off or remote
in position or nature

Ee is for electron.
A stable subatomic particle with a charge of negative
electricity, found in all atoms and acting as the primary
carrier of electricity in solids.
Electricity. a unit of charge equal to the charge on one
electron.
Ff is for fluid. A
substance that has no fixed shape and yields
easily to external pressure; a gas or
(especially) a liquid.
(of a substance) able to flow easily.

Gg is for gas.
An air-like fluid substance which expands
freely to fill any space available, irrespective
of its quantity.
A gaseous substance that cannot be liquefied
by the application of pressure alone.
Hh is for heat.
The quality of being hot; high temperature.
make or become hot or warm.

Ii is for ion.
An atom or molecule with a net electric
charge due to the loss or gain of one or more
electrons.
one of the electrically charged particles
formed in a gas by electric discharge or the
like.
Jj is for joule.
The SI unit of work or energy, equal to the
work done by a force of one newton when its
point of application moves one meter in the
direction of action of the force, equivalent to
one 3600th of a watt-hour.

Kk is for kinetic energy.
Energy that a body possesses by virtue of
being in motion.
The energy of a body or a system with respect
to the motion of the body or of the particles in
the system.
Ll is for lift.
Lift is the force that directly opposes the
weight of an airplane and holds the airplane in
the air.
Lift is a mechanical aerodynamic force
produced by the motion of the airplane
through the air.

Mm is for metals.
A solid material that is typically hard, shiny, malleable,
fusible, and ductile, with good electrical and thermal
conductivity (e.g., iron, gold, silver, copper, and
aluminum, and alloys such as brass and steel).
Nn is for newton.
The SI unit of force. It is equal to the force
that would give a mass of one kilogram an
acceleration of one meter per second per
second, and is equivalent to 100,000 dynes.

Oo is for observation.
The action or process of observing something
or someone carefully or in order to gain
information.
Pp is for pulley.
a wheel with a grooved rim around which a
cord passes. It acts to change the direction of
a force applied to the cord and is chiefly used
(typically in combination) to raise heavy
weights.

Qq is for quark.
Any of a number of subatomic particles carrying a fractional electric charge,
postulated as building blocks of the hadrons. Quarks have not been directly
observe, but theoretical predictions based on their existence have been
confirmed experimentally.
Rr is for radioation.
The emission of energy as electromagnetic waves or as
moving subatomic particles, especially high-energy
particles that cause ionization.

Ss is for science.
The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the
systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical
and natural world through observation and experiment.
Tt is for temperature.
The degree or intensity of heat present in a substance or object,
especially as expressed according to a comparative scale and
shown by a thermometer or perceived by touch.

Uu is for unsaturated solution.
Of or relating to a solution in which the solvent is
capable of dissolving still more of the solute; not
saturated.
Vv is for volume.
The amount of space that a substance or object
occupies, or that is enclosed within a container.
