     Bubble Gum Contest

     Corky was a bubble rebel. Whenever he had 

change in his pocket he would always buy 

bubble gum in every color. He would put large 

pieces of gum into his mouth and chew, chew, 

chew. The gum became soft enough to blow big 

bubbles.

   Sometimes the bubbles would be small. 

Sometimes Corky would blow bubbles so big 

that they would pop with such a loud bang. He 

would laugh. Friends loved to play with Corky. 

He was so much fun. Bubble blowing was all his 

friends wanted to do.   Summertime at the 

country play park was always busy.

     Everyone would get out of bed, have a 

delicious breakfast and head on down to the 

play park. There were plenty of friends to 

make and to share fun things to do. Today 

Corky arranged for a bubble blowing contest. 

Anybody could join in and have fun. The winner 

of the biggest bubble would be called 'King 

Bubble'

As the sun rose high in the sky everyone 

gathered together with bubble gum in 

their pockets

     Mocha the pink alien was the first to try 

and blow the biggest bubble. He chose a blue 

gum and started to blow his prize winning 

bubble. He was hoping to be the winner. He 

took a deep breath and blew a bubble. Everyone 

clapped with excitement as the bubble grew 

bigger. Just when the bubble was as big as it 

could get something happened.

The bubble was 

gone.

     Everybody laughed. Mocha was unhappy at 

first. He soon found that bubbles are meant to 

bang. Not everybody has a red bird land on 

their big bubble and burst it. 

     Gubba the roly poly alien was bursting with 

excitement. He chose to use green gum. He 

popped the gum into his mouth and prepared 

himself for the biggest bubble ever.
