My name is Neil. I have my own room. There are no sisters allowed. My friends come over and hang in my room. My best friends love to read all kinds of mystery books.

     We love space heros that we make up in our minds. When we go to the mall we take our pictures to the shop and have them put on our tee shirts. We look so cool.

     This is one of my friends. His name is Sam. I like Sam because he is quiet. Sometimes when he begins to speak he has so many interesting things to say. He loves to share anything he owns especially his books. The only rule that Sam has is that if you borrow his books he would like you to return them please.

     This is another great friend of mine. His name is Rick. Now Rick is kind of bossy and thinks he knows all there is to know in the world. He doesn't but he is really smart and loads of fun. Reading is fun for him but he loves heros of all kinds. He can draw really well. I like the way Rick speaks of his dreams to be an artist when he grows up.

     This is another friend and his name is Ferris. He always makes my friends laugh. Ferris shares all his jokes. If there is anyone who can make me laugh hard it would be my buddy Ferris. When we are bored and need something different to read or do Ferris is full of ideas. We hardly get bored with him around.

     Sam had a birthday and received some awesome books to read. I loved one particular book and hoped to borrow it soon. Sam is kind and offered me the book to read as long as I returned it when I was finished.

     Rick's parents created a reading room for all of his friends to sit around in and read, listen to music or create images for all kinds of tee shirts. We had to keep the room clean and no wrestling around on the furniture.

     Rick brought some fascinating pictures to show everyone. He wanted to find out if his drawings were cool enough to put on some tee shirts. We all agreed with every picture he had drawn. The students in school may want to have some pictures for us to use.

     Ferris made some silly jokes about the heros that Rick drew. His jokes were really funny and no one was offended by anything he shared. We all knew Ferris was trying to keep us laughing all the time. He is one of the best friends we all have great times with.
