I yawn. Dust motes in a sunbeam, twirling, dancing, floating. I wish I could float away, on wings of light.
"SKYE!" Mrs. Wilson shouted.
"Alright, alright."I grumbled. I slipped on a sky blue dress I had set out and some blue flats. I pushed a blue ribbon over my wavy blue hair. Yes I know. You are probably like, whoah that's a LOT of blue, but, hey, I'm a blue person. Even my eyes are electric blue.

I used to have parents, but they disappeared when I was young. My Mom's friend, Mrs. Wilson, offered to take me in, and that's awesome and all, but she doesn't understand teenage girls. "Your mom wanted me to give this to you." She handed me a small blue jewerly box. I opened it and gasped. Inside was a necklace with a clear blue wing pendant. "It's beautiful!"I said softly.
"Put it on!" She said. I slipped on the necklace. All of a sudden, the world started to tilt. I passed out.

I wake up in cold sweat. I look around and I realized I'm in my room. I feel a little tinglely and my back itches. I reach back to to itch it and my hand touches something soft and silky. I jump up and race to the mirror. Reflected in it is me, with my blueness, but also with large blue wings. I scream. Since Mrs. Wilson did not come running, I guessed that she was out doing errands. I stare in the mirror. It looks so weird! I imagined wings would be white or brown, not- oh my! When I was thinking that, my wings turned brown!I look like a eagle-human hybrid! What had caused that? I found out a couple minutes later that, if I think about my hair being gold, It
