Once upon a time there lived
Edgar Earth. Edgar Earth really
loved Sally Sun, but she was a
really big star. Edgar was
barely even able to look at her
because she shined so bright.

One day Sally Sun wasn't shining
as bright as she normally did.
This made Edgar Earth really sad.
Edgar using his really loud voice
yelled, "Sally, are you okay?"

Sally Sun replied, "No I'm actually
not okay." Edgar really expected
getting that answer from Sally. He
was determined to make her happy.
"What's wrong?" he said. "Everything
is wrong Edgar. Can you help me?"
Sally asked.

"Well, do you see Michael Moon
over there? Soon he is going to
float on over here and separate
me from my one true love,"
exclaimed Sally. "Oh, and who
might that be?" asked a curious
Edgar.

"OH NO! Here he comes now!" Edgar
yelled, "Sally, I need to
tell you something!" "What is it Edgar?"
Sally screamed. "I love you Sally! I
always have. You are my diamond in this
sky. You shine brighter than a diamond!
Please never forget me!"
"I won't! I promise!" she said.

Edgar and Sally
had no sight of each other. It was the
longest they had ever been away from one
another. Michael Moon tried to explain
that Edgar Earth was his best friend. He
didn't want to come between them. There
is just something pulling me around
Edgar and towards Sally.

Sally didn't want to believe
that there was an evil force
forcing Michael to go between
Edgar and herself. "Michael, we
need to find out what this
is. Can you help me?" asked
Sally.

"Of course I can Sally! Now that I
think of it, have you ever heard of
this thing called Gravity?"
responded Michael. "No I can't say
I have, Michael. Do you think you
could explain Gravity to me?" Sally
wondered.

"Well, gravity is a force. A strong
force. It pulls things toward
it. For example Edgar Earth pulls
things into its atmosphere on
account of gravity. That is how
humans stay planted on the ground,"
said Michael.

"Oh that makes so much sense
Michael, thanks for
explaining!" exclaimed Sally,
"How often does gravity force
you to come between Edgar and
I?"
