I'm here to tell you about the rock cycle

Wait- rock cycle? I only thought there was the Carbon Cycle.

Follow These Instructions:

1. On the far left side, click Text and click on a text box. Type "Dogs were on the beach".

2. Click Props. Click on dogs to add them.

3. Click Design Characters. Design a person. 

Click on it to add it.

4. Click Photos. Search for "beach". Pick a beach photo. Make it a Scene and add it. 

5. Click Voice. Record your voice narrating your story. 

6. At the top, click Save & Exit. Congratulations! You've created your first book.

That's the thing Damian, there are tons of different cycles, like Ocean currents and Energy balance. But today were gonna learn about the Rock cycle.

So how does the rock cycle happen in nature?

I'm glad you asked.

The rock cycle begins with molten rock (magma below ground, lava above ground), which cools and hardens to form igneous rock. ... Sedimentary rock can be deeply buried, subjected to heat and pressure, which over time, cause it to change its structure into a new rock, a metamorphic rock.

Wow! That's really cool! But us as humans have been interfering with the rock cycle right?

That's right! 

Humans interact with the rock cycle by mining rocks for useful minerals such as gold and for fuel such as coal, oil and gas.
