Christmas

Many people visit family or friends and exchange gifts. In the days or even weeks before Christmas Day,  many people decorate their homes and gardens with lights, Christmas trees and Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of  Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus).  A Mass  service is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life.

Children's Day

Children's Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness of the rights, care and education of children. It is celebrated  on 14 November every year as a tribute to India's First Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.On this day, many educational and  motivational programs are held across India for children. Children also have some parties in school or home on this day for fun

New Year

This day is celebrated because a new year starts and In many countries, New Year's Eve is celebrated at evening parties, where  many people dance, eat, drink, and watch or light fireworks. Some Christians attend a watchnight service. The celebrations  generally go on past midnight into New Year's Day, 1 January

Sky Lantern Festival

The sky lantern festival, also known as the Pingxi Lantern Festival takes place only in the Pingxi district in Taiwan, which is 

45 minutes from the capital Taipei. Here, thousands of locals and tourists gather together and release lanterns to the sky, 

making a wish as they do so
