
February 01, 2021 - MONDAY
A brand new week. I decided to skip my breakfast since I got up late from bed and besides, we have an 11am class. Lack of time is I think was the main reason why I had come up with this choice. And also my poor sleeping routine.
Breakfast has always been the last thing on my mind in the morning in these past few days. And I am definitely guilty of skipping it many times.
As a result, I was feeling tired, and sluggish, it even affected my mood throughout the day. I know it was my fault after all.
I finally realized that it is indeed important to provide our bodies with proper nutrients. People who skip meals, just like me, for dieting reasons or lack of time is not a wise or healthy decision. This can have negative health consequences on us in the long run if we continue doing this.
February 02, 2021 - TUESDAY
I woke up early in the morning since we have an 8AM and 9AM class. The highlight of the day must be the unexpected and sudden announcement of one of our professors that she will have a session with us later afternoon instead on Friday due to her scheduled meeting.
We are totally caught off guard with the abrupt situation we were facing. Because this week, we were planned to have a graded recitation on her class. And most of us weren't ready since we thought it was on Friday yet.
Our professor then gave us options/choices, whether we will have synchronous session today so that we will only have asynchronous on Friday, or she permits us to have asynchronous session on both today and on Friday.
Our class president consolidate all of our votes on the poll, and majority of us chose the first option. I guess we all have the same thinking that picking the second choice will only delay us from our pace in learning, since it is one of our major subjects.
At the end, we made the right mindset - learning to prioritize and to determine the importance of each decision.
February 03, 2021 - WEDNESDAY
We had no classes but I still chose to work on my remaining activities and tasks. Mostly requires some thorough analysis and observation about family life in today's society.
I guess my procrastination didn't hit me this time. I have this attitude of mine that once I’ve decided that I really do need to do something, I will do my very best to fight my own drive to procrastinate. That's where my self-control regulates.
Everyone has to develop their own strategies for avoiding procrastination wherein minimizing distractions is my usual solution to combat this act.
In the end, I was very much delighted because I was able to ex out not just one but two activities within the day. It was more relaxing to be ahead after all. And lastly, what I've also realized from this particular decision was that, it is essential that we have a better understanding of which strategy works better for us in resisting the inner temptation to procrastinate.
February 04, 2021 - THURSDAY
I woke up early and decided to continue in finishing the activities and outputs. I did also some reading and watched some videos for our certain course.
Then after our 3pm class, I thought on taking my pet cat into bath since its been a while when he took one. We all know cats keep themselves pretty clean. Typically, most cats spend a lot of time to clean themselves with their tongue. However, this does not make them human-standard clean, especially when they get into something very sticky or dirty.
I also considered this chance to have a special bonding with my cat. It is very true that there are plenty of health benefits occur to us humans when there is an emotional attachment to our lovely pets. So, I'm really craving to have a sweet moment with my cat. Indeed, they are life-savers and mood booster as they can reduce stress, and loneliness in every human.
