

Let's take a small trip back to the past and learn a little about the first 10 U.S Presidents.


Our first president was George Washington.
After the American Revolution, he had plans to go back to the quiet life of a farmer. In 1787 he was elected president of the convention that wrote the U.S. Constitution. In 1789 He became America's first president setting the future up for future citizens of the U.S. His term was 1787-1789


John Adams was the second president.
Not only was he the first Vice President to George Washington. He was the 2nd President. One interesting fact is he is the first President to live in the White house. His Terms were 1797-1801





Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd president

He was a spokesman for democracy. He was the author of the Declaration of Independence. He acquired the Louisiana Territory From Napoleon in 1803. He Had 2 terms, 1801-1809


James Madison was our 4th President

He contributed to the ratification of the Constitution with the Federalist papers. With the country still staring out, military power was still weak with him in office, and the White House and the Capitol got attacked and was set ablaze within his terms (1809-1817)


5th President was James Monroe


He was the last President of the Founding Fathers. in his terms. He resolved the Missouri Compromise bill. Pairing Missouri as a slave state. His terms (1817-1825)

Founding Fathers

These first five presidents were the founding fathers. They help build a strong United States. It started with a fresh start and developed the policies that we still follow to this day.






John Quincy Adams the 6th President


He was a member of many political parties. He even was a Senator, a member of the House of Representatives. His term was 1825-1829
