Grandma loved to have all her grandchildren over whenever she could, but Sundays were special. Grandma used Sundays to teach us how to cook. She always told us, "cooking is how we show our love."

Growing up, Sundays were my favorite day. Sundays meant me and my family would spend the whole day with my Grandma.

" "Nicole, help me roll the dough for the stromboli today." Grandma would say.

We would make so many delicious recipes with her, cooking all the recipes her family brought to America from Italy when they moved here.

Stromboli breads were made with fresh ingredients. from the yard.

"Grandma would have us help her weed the garden so we would know where each ingredient was from. " We grow this to have love in each step.".

Rainbow cookies and so many others would be regulars for our cooking lessons each week.
