Let's meet Joe. He is a ten year-old boy. He reads a lot and likes travelling. He is interested in history and nature. He is a curious and imaginative boy. He wants to live something different and exciting.

Every night, he dreams of ancient times, wars, wild animals, underwater life and other exciting things. He closes his eyes and imagines that he is in those places.

One night, a dim light wakes him up. He opens his eyes and sees a fairy. " I will give you a pair of magical eyeglasses. When you put them on, you will go to different places." says the fairy. He is frightened and confused.When the fairy leaves, Joe closes his eyes and puts the magic eyeglasses on.

He opens his eyes and sees the audience, the King, and a gladiator. He is very excited. The gladiator is running toward him and he is about to hit Joe. Joe rescues himself with a quick move and takes off the eyeglasses to get rid of the gladiator. He opens his eyes and he is safe in his bedroom.
