The Great Race

Follow These Instructions:

1. On the far left side, click Text and click on a text box. Type "Dogs were on the beach".

2. Click Props. Click on dogs to add them.

3. Click Design Characters. Design a person. 

Click on it to add it.

4. Click Photos. Search for "beach". Pick a beach photo. Make it a Scene and add it. 

5. Click Voice. Record your voice narrating your story. 

6. At the top, click Save & Exit. Congratulations! You've created your first book.

It was the first saturday of march and Ellianna snowrunner was getting ready to race in the iditarod.That is the most famous dog race on earth.She was nervous because she could be there for eight to fourteen days.With only forty hours of rest time she was worried she could not win.She saw green flags waving. She took off. The race had begun. 

As she raced on the southern trail to Nome,Alaska she thought about the last year when she won with her musher,Thomas Waener. She was with him again this year and could not get hurt like last year win she almost made him go in twenty fifth place by going up a mountin insted of around. 

She had been his pet since the day they won the race.It was so early in the morning that it was pitch black out so nobody could see as thing except for the musher's flashlight. Once she was able to take the northern route because it was 2020 and the number twenty is a even number.As Mitch Seavey appered in the sight of Ellianna she heard her musher yelling "faster faster".Ellianna sped up she saw a black and white checkered line.She ran trough it.Then she heard the words "winner winner winner".She knew that they were talking about her.After traviling ninty miles each day she was worn out.She had a sharp pain in her leg as they took  her to rest stop number two where the vet was  with a tent for the dogs  to get a x-ray.That is where people take a picture of your bones with a fancy machine.It turned out that Ellianna had broke her leg and if it was not treated imedittly she could dye.She was upset because starting out with 16 siblings and know only having 10 is very upsetting could she be seeing six of her siblings in the near future.

Ellianna was at the vets office in Anchorage,Alaska.She was just out of her first surgery ever.She was about to go home and rest when they found out it there was a tie and the two people that tied would have to race again.

Ellianna was on the trail back in action trying to win a race.She did not have to race the whole way but she did have to race three miles with a broken leg.Luckily she won the race and did it again four more times
