There are three friends that go to the same school called St. Alphonsus. There names are Ben, Jasper, and Joe. They are in 5th grade and have been going to school together since Kindergarten. 

Ben is the oldest out of the three boys. They play on the swings and do crazy stunts on the swings. 

A week ago, a new kid moved to town. Today, he showed up in our class! His name is James. 

All three of us went up James and said, "Hello, are you new?"

James answered, "No."

Everyone said, "Yes, you are..."

And James replied, "Of course I'm new, stupid. Are you dumb?"

Ben said, "Why did you say that? We didn't do anything to you."

James replied, "Well I'm really sorry," in a sarcastic way.

Ben said, "We really appreciate your apology," in a sarcastic way.

The teacher says, "Sit down everyone. Why were you guys fighting, Ben and James?"

Ben says, "Well, James started it."

The teacher says, "Don't disrespect the new kid." She sends Ben to the principal's office.

Then, after school Ben was stuck doing math until he could go back home. After he did all of his math, his parents came to pick him up.

His parents shamed Ben for what he did. "You are grounded for being mean to James for a year!" said his mom.

"A year? That's not fair!" argued Ben.

"Keep arguing and it will be 2 years!" said his mom.

Ben says, "But James started it!"

Mom said, "Blah, blah, blah keep making excuses it's coming up to two years."

At school the next day, Ben says to his friends, "I won't be able to play Fortnite with you because I got grounded for a year!"

"You got grounded for a year? You have a strict mom!" said Jasper.

James said "Ha Ha! You got grounded for a year!"

But Ben had his phone recording it in his pocket. So then after school Ben showed it to his parents and the principal. He is still grounded but he is only grounded for two days now. And Ben said, "Thank you mom and dad!"

The next day at school James mocked, "You're still grounded, you're still grounded!"

But then the principal came up behind James and said "He's still grounded but you're suspended... for a week."

When James comes back to school from suspension, he has more friends to help him bully Ben, Jasper, and Joe.
