To my brothers Charlie and Henry, my sister Nora, and my mom and dad who make my Christmas a better time even during this difficult time of 2020. To my grandpa who had knee surgery and is trying his best to have the best Christmas he can. To my Grandma who is taking care of my grandpa and despite my grandpa's circumstances, she still finds time to talk with us over the phone.

Every year my family and I do many Christmas traditions that are fun. Do you have any special events or traditions during Christmastime?

Every year my Elf comes and she hides all around the house. One morning when I woke up, we found our Elf playing cards with a stuffed animal! I think it's cool that she hides in different places every day.

Another tradition we have is making Gingerbread houses. We make little gingerbread men and women. We decorate them with lots of candy and sugar plums.

Every year we decorate our house with lights and decorate our tree with ornaments. We have a star that lights up at the top.

We drive around looking at Christmas lights. One year I saw a giant inflatable Grinch! Sometimes we drink hot cocoa while looking at lights.

Every year we go visit Santa. Sometimes he gives us candy canes and he asks us what we want for Christmas. Then we take a picture with him.

Another tradition we do as a family is we leave cookies and milk out for Santa. We also leave carrots for the reindeer. On Christmas morning we see that Santa ate all of the treats.
