A long time ago, there was a puppet bear called Alvin. He had a beloved little owner, Emily. They accompanied each other for countless days and nights.

很久以前，有一隻叫做Alvin的布偶小熊，他擁有一個很愛他的小主人Emily，他們相互陪伴了無數個日子。

As time passed, Alvin became shabby and dirty, so Emily’s parents wanted to buy her a new puppet bear on her 5th birthday.

然而隨著時間的流逝，Alvin變得又髒又舊，因此Emily的父母想要買一隻全新的布偶小熊當作她5歲的生日禮物。

Alvin felt sorrowful because he thought he was abandoned. As a result, he decided to look for his own happiness.

Alvin覺得很難過，因為他認為自己被拋棄了，因此他決定要去找尋屬於他自己的幸福。

In the beginning, Alvin came across a toy dog, Bryant, playing the drums in a showcase of the toy shop.

He asked, “ Hi, do you know where happiness is? ”

在旅途的一開始，Alvin遇見了一隻在玩具店的展示櫃裡打鼓的玩具狗Bryant。

Alvin問他說：「嗨，請問你知道幸福在哪裡嗎？」

“ I’m in the showcase all the time, so I think playing the drums is my happiness,” Bryant said.

Alvin felt depressed with this answer because he wasn’t able to play any musical instruments, and then he left the toy shop. 

Bryant回答說：「我一直都待在展示櫃裡，所以我覺得能打鼓就是我的幸福。」

Alvin對這個答案感到很沮喪，因為他並不會任何樂器，所以他離開了玩具店，繼續向前走。

Afterward, he bumped into a delicate doll, Alice.

He asked her, “ Miss, do you know where happiness is ?” 

然後他遇到了一個叫做Alice的精緻娃娃。「小姐，請問你知道幸福在哪裡嗎？」Alvin問道。

“ Keeping my beautiful appearance makes me happy.” 

Alvin couldn’t agree with what she said as he thought that having a good look didn’t represent happiness.

「對我來說，保持美貌就是讓我感到幸福的事了。」Alice回答說。但是Alvin並不同意Alice所說的話，因為他覺得美麗的臉孔並不能代表擁有幸福。

Next, he met a clown, Joker, in a fear box. 

He asked him, “ Mr. Clown, do you know where happiness is? ”

接著，他遇到了一位住在驚嚇箱里的小丑先生，Joker。「小丑先生，請問你知道幸福在哪裡嗎？」Alvin問道。

“ Sorry, I have no idea. I just like to watch the reactions when people are frightened by me. It’s really interesting,” Joker said with a smile. 

However, Alvin couldn’t realize it because he didn’t like to make fun of others.

Joker帶著微笑回答:「抱歉，我並不知道。我只不過喜歡看人們被我嚇到的反應，真的十分有趣呢!」然而Alvin無法理解小丑先生的快樂，因為他不喜歡以捉弄別人為樂。
