No one quite knew when it started, why and how.
It was really baffling and even fatal. It was always
better in summer, than winter because plants would
take in some of Mr. Carbon for their growth, but in
winter its too cold for plants and there is extra
Mr.Carbon floating in the air.

No one quite knew when it started, why
and how.
It was certainly really bad and even fatal. It
was always better in summer, than winter
because plants would take in some of Mr.
Carbon for their growth, but in winter its
too cold for plants and there is extra
Mr.Carbon floating in the air. People stay
inside through winter so they use more
electricity.

It was just another morning, Mr. Carbon
woke up at 8AM, stretched out. And quickly
noticed a powder on the floor, it was the same
as flour but black. Mr. Carbon smelled it and
sneezed right away, very itchy, now Carbon
has something to clean up.
Carbon ran upstairs to say good morning to
his friends, jumping on each bed. He licked
their face until they were wide awake.
After waking up children he ate a delicious
breakfast and went outside to enjoy fresh
weather.

Around 9AM everyone was ready to leave for
school.
Girls, have you turned of your iPad's and
iPod's?-Mom asked, -Let's go girls we will be
late for school!-shouted out loud.
Yes! -Girls lied about turning off their
electronic devices and quickly raced down the
stairs.

The whole family left and it was silence in the
house, Mr. Carbon was now in charge of the
house. He decided to check around the house
if its all nice and good. Apparently, he saw that
girls didn't shut down their electronics, and the
lights in their room was still shinning bright,
wasting energy.
Mr. Carbon sadly went back down and saw
dirty paw prints on the stairs. He did not
understand where they were coming from.

Mr. Carbon thought he walked in something by
accident, but it wasn't that.
Then what is it?- he wondered
Carbon followed the ways of paw prints, back and
forth, and then realized that the whole kitchen is
really dirty.
Now I'm in really big trouble, what on earth is
this...,-Thought sad Mr. Carbon to himself.
But when he looked at his paws they were clean as
always.
When Mom came and saw all the mess Carbon
made, she got really mad at him and he was told
to go outside.

As he sadly went outside black paws still followed
him. Children right away went upstairs to play
with their computers, but as soon as Mom heard
them, she told them to turn off their electronic
devices and come back down to help her clean the
mess.
This time children honestly turned it off and went
to help Mom. When the kitchen was all nice and
clean Mr. Carbon came back in and the footprints
weren't following him anymore. But for sure there is
something mysterious here, -Mr. Carbon wondered
what it was.
