Present Simple uses:

-To describe habits or things that we do regularly/Para describir hábitos o cosas que hacemos regularmente .

Examples:

He drinks coffee in the mornings 

She watches Tv after dinner.

- To give instructions or directions/ Para dar instrucciones o direcciones.

Example:

You take the bus to the next stop and then the taxi

Afirmative form

It´s just the verb with an extra '¨S¨'if the subjec is 'he', 

'she', or  'it'.For example,

I play soccer

You play soccer 

He plays soccer

She plays soccer

It plays 

We play soccer

They play soccer

For a few verbs, there is a spelling change before the ¨'S'. For example, 

Study becomes 'studies'

Be careful! 'y' doesn't change to 'ie' if the ending is 'ay', 'ey', 'oy', 'uy'. 

So, 

Play becomes plays

Say becomes says

Buy becomes buys

Enjoy becomes enjoys

Stay becomes stays

Verbs that end in 's', 'sh', 'ch', or 'x':

Verbs that end in 's', 'sh', 'ch' or 'x' often add 'e' before 's':

There are also few verbs which are irregular in the present simple:

'Have' becomes 'has'

'Do' becomes 'does'

'Go' becomes 'goes'

STRUCTURE

Subject + Verb (S) + complement

-They visit their friends in the afternoons.

-I clean the house after breakfast.

-We play basketball on Saturdays.

-She cooks the meal after lunch.

-He gets up early in the morning
