A man named Martin Luther King Jr. who wanted to help out other African-Americans. He believed that everyone should have equal rights as one another.
One day, King traveled down to Montgomery, Alabama, to try to make a difference.
The NCAAP met with him to discuss what they could do.

Then came along a woman named Rosa Parks. She was part of the Civil Rights Movement, but wanted to be more involved. Together the NAACP decided that she needed to boycott the public buses in the city.
It was decided that Rosa will ride on the city bus, and not give up her seat to anyone.

Rosa got on the bus and sat down. She rode the bus until a man came up to her and demanded that she gave up her seat. She said no to the man and he got mad.
The man began to yell at Rosa saying that he has the right to that seat and she does not. Rosa replied by explaining how everyone has the same right to the seats on the bus, including herself.
