District Three was stronger than ever. Districts 1, 2, and 5 were destroyed and put up in flames by the rising power in Three. District Four had surrendered, and became a part of the ‘Three Empire’, as the scared remaining districts said. President Radron, the leader of the Empire, killed off the Capitol and turned it into District 3. The Three Empire was ruthless, and the rising power of the nation of Panem. Beetee and Radron worked together to end the unrest against the other districts, and District 13 was caved in with the people being killed. Wiress was in a tube, extracted from her box. The old Beetee ventured from the outpost in what was once Two to the graveyard in Three.

Districts Eleven and Ten were turned, along with restored Twelve, into Outlying Three. Districts 6, 7, 8, and 9 were all that remained independent and grouped into the Central Panem Empire. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark were in the CPE, and O3, alongside the 3E, were connected by a thin strand through Six. Now, the people of Six were in a fight with the Outlying Three and raided it. President Radron walked up to his communicomm and heard it all. The adult Katniss was in the fight. A faint voice was heard from the edge of the crowd pushing into the borders of Outlying Three.

Peacekeepers exploded from the Justice Building and shot the singer. Three fingers lifted from the rebels and the Peacekeepers fired. A Peacekeeper screamed as three rebels snapped his neck and he crumpled to the ground. The rebels picked up the gun and used the strategy to snap every Peacekeeper’s neck and send them onto the ground to be trampled by the rebels. Suddenly, Beetee hacked into the President’s main control room and fried the communications to any other part of Three Empire or the CPE.

Beetee ran to the door and trampled the incoming Peacekeepers, running to the main control room to see a livid President Radron. Beetee shot the President in the chest, and he crumpled to the ground, unconscious, as more Peacekeepers ran in. But Katniss already knew what happened. The rebels boomed out the song as Peacekeepers crumpled, their heads in a one-eighty from their normal positions. District 3 was losing power, and fast. Beetee crashed through the window as a Peacekeeper grabbed him.

Radron woke up to find a white rose on the desk. He tapped it, and the rose opened into a sword. Katniss Everdeen rushed into the citadel of the Three Empire to see the large window and the president, and a Peacekeeper holding Beetee by the shirt. Suddenly, a white sword slashed through the back of Beetee, and the body toppled off the edge of the slanted roof, and fell to the ground in front of Katniss. Snow, she thought as a white rose rose from the ground in front of her.

Roses stuck from the whole Citadel as Coriolanus Snow boomed through the whole of the Empire. The Capitol is not dead. It will return. Fear me, Three scum. The rebels will be crushed and the Hunger Games will resume. Eventually, three months had passed since the announcement of Snow’s return, and no sign of Snow was shown. Suddenly, another boom came, reaching to the edges of Panem. Districts Three, Six, Seven, Eight, and Nine will compete in the 77th Annual Hunger Games. There will be 10 tributes from every district: 50 total tributes. Prepare. Katniss screamed, remembering the past Hunger Games, and the war. Flashbacks of the destroyed plant in Five, and the death of Prim.

The rebels crashed into a hole in District Thirteen. A long beard, a sagging, pale face, and the signs of starvation. Ex-president Coriolanus Snow was there, and he was a dying spirit.

Coriolanus stabbed a rebel, and the other two ran. He disappeared and rematerialized in the Capitol. Flames erupted from dilapidated buildings and Snow knew what to do. He teleported to the Three Empire building and materialized a force field around the destroyed Capitol. The Seventy-Seventh Hunger Games have begun, thought Snow as he put bushes of nightlock in the blueberry bushes in the ruins. The water was laced with nightlock, and the ground was made of leaves that crumbled into pits of death that sent tributes into a maze that led them to each other. The Cornucopia was inside the middle of the maze, and the Hunger Games were ready.
