The problem with having an elephant as a pet is that being with others is not easy at all.

Nobody has an elephant.

He is very lovely and friendly.

Every day I take my elephant for a walk. It’s a very thoughtful puppy. 

But it’s afraid of cracks on the sidewalk. 

I'm afraid of cracks!!! I don't like walking on the sidewalk!

Then I’m going back to help him. That’s what a friend does:  he lifts you when you’re in trouble.

Today I’m taking my elephant to the Animal Friends Club.

Everyone’s going.

Come on. That guy seems nice. 

I had to carry him to entrance. 

It’ll be fine, you’ll see.

But when I looked up, I saw the sign on the door.

No elphant!

My elephant took me off the sidewalk without a chance to see the cracks.

That’s what a friend does. He overcomes his fears to come to you.

I'm sorry ! They're very rude and unfriendly!
